我的中秋节英语

Today is Mid-autumn festival, it is one of the most important festivals in China. My mom was busy in the morning because we had a big dinner with my relatives tonight. We went to the supermarkets to buy a lot of food and fruits, and so do moon cakes. During the dinner, we ate, talked and laughed. We enjoyed the food and mooncakes.After the dinner, my cousins and I went to the park to play. The moon was full round. We lit up the lanterns and played around in the park. It was fun!!!!!!

Mid-autumn Day is a national festival in China. It often comes in September or October every year. In old days, all the people try to get together to celebrate the harvest. But today, Mid-autumn Festival became a day when family members have a chance to get together. On that day, the moon is always so round and bright. Most of people will go to the open air to enjoy the beautiful moon. They also eat moon cakes, which is a small round cake with nuts 、sweet or fruit in it. Most of Chinese enjoy Mid-autumn Day, just like we do.

Moreover, in the evening of the Middle-Autumn Festival, people get together in a vacant place, eating delicious mooncakes while appreciating the beautiful moon hanging in the dark sky. To conclude, the Midde-Autumn Festival is a very nice festival for Chinese people.
