呵呵，我本来是学国贸的，英语还不错。现在在机械厂做外销。我的个人经验，机械英语还是很重要的。机械专业英语应该是属于行业英语了，像我们入职培训，第一个要学的，就是机械类的英语。当然了，不同的机械行业专业英语是有所不同的。但是，大部分还是相通的。对于机械专业英语稍微多下点功夫，无论是为以后涉及外销的机械设计做准备，还是更多为锻炼英语水平，都是有劳有获的。而且，现在很多比较好的机械设计文献资料啊，都是英文的。有很多时候也要借鉴老外的比较先进的设计图纸，如果自己对专业英语稍微精通些，对自己的职场应该是比较有利的吧。

本人工作已有数年，英语还是很有用的，当你从事单位业务设计海外或国内外外资企业工业领域时，英语是你使用基本工具手册标准的最低要求，只有熟知相应条例规范才能提高工作效率等，比如DIN,ASME AISI,JIN,DNV,WBS,等等规范条例等都是英语，若你是搞机械的，这些东西就不用我详细赘述了吧
