I've been looking forward to it for a long time. My parents promised me to go to the beach at the very beginning of May, and today we did it! It was June and the summer has just started. the sun was shining in the sky,however, it was not that hot for there were breezes! There were many people in the boats and walking on the sand. So we can't rest, we collected a lot of shells, they were so beautiful that I have got a big bag of those masterpieces of nature. Also the sunbath, yes! we did that too. I want to be tanned like a strong man!:) It was the first time I went to the beach this year. It is exciting to enjoy the sea, and I will go there again! The Notice on the Enlish Evening Here is the every-other-week English Evening, we will have it again this week, details as follows: Time: Oct.23rd, saturday, 7:00pm place: Teaching Building NO.2, Lecture Room containing: Singing;recitation; dancing;English drama;American teachers' speeches, etc. purpose: promote students' ability of listening and talking. place for joining in:Office building, room 203,Students' Union. Students' Union Oct.18th.Dear XX I'mXXX,welcome to our city.I'm very happy to hear that.Our city is very beautiful,I think you'll have a good time here.There are many wonders(名胜古迹).And there are many kinds of snacks ,it's very delicious.I think you will like it.I hope you will have a good time here. Nowadays, TV , cell and Web are becoming more and more important, especially for those who work with them. If I have to give up one of them , I will give up TV. So what are the reasons? Firstly, among the three of them, TV is the most widely-used one, but meanwhile, its functions may be the least. For this reason, you can’t always expect to get what can be easily acquired on the Web from a TV. Secondly, compared with the cell, the size of a TV is much larger than a cell. As a result, it’s difficult to take a TV with you when you travel somewhere. Thirdly, if we regard these three things as tools, TV maybe the least satisfying one, for it’s not an interactive one. Though there are many shortcomings with TV, it is still a very useful tool. (时间匆忙,如有错误,请指正,谢谢!）
