- 1 - 2021年03月24日。 周三。 这里是奶爸进击之旅—— 英语屋 的第六期更新。 - 2 - 本期（2021年03月18日—2021年03月24日）英语屋总结如下： 一、地道口语表达： （蓝色字体为学习的内容，括号内容是我自己写的翻译） 1、 be/get bogged down ：（be involved in something difficult or complicated that you cannot do anything else） 2、 blow off steam ：（let out your anger） 3、 nagging ：（complain a lot） 4、 go figure~ ：（unbelievable） 5、 That figures. ：（make sense） 6、 snubbed ：（ignore） 7、 Kudos! ： （Congratulations,and show your respect） 8、 starting is half the battle. ：（starting is the most important step towords achieving something.） 9、 litterbugs ：（someone drop litter in public places） 10、 take it out on somebody ：（put their anger to someone for no reason） 11、 on the sly ：（do something secret, mostly is bad thing） 12、 up and about ：（two mearning--recover or wake up） 13、 steep ：（expensive） 14、 grand ：（ a thousand） 15、 trash it ：（throw it into trash） 16、 a stepping stone ：（something help you achieve the goal） 17、 throw a party ：（compare with have a party, throw a party means much more excitement） 18、 a loose cannon ：（someone cannot control their emotion or behavior，they usually do bad things to someone else，like shouting them or punching them） 19、 zip it ：（be quiet, shut up） 20、 a stickler ：（dsomeone always follow rules） 21、 get duped. ：（be deceived） 以上就是近七天学习收录的地道美语表达。 - 3 - 二、动词短语：（turn） 动词短语（phrasal verbs）在英语学习中尤为重要，同样一个单词，接上不同的介词，就会有完全不一样的意思。 所以，相比于背单词，背单词相关的动词短语反而更有用，更有助于理解英文的意思。 本期，收录了几个关于turn的动词短语供大家学习记忆。 1、 turn on： turn on有打开或开启一个设备的意思。 E.g  Can you turn on the light？ 但是，如果turn on 与人相连接，意思就完全不一样了，没搞清楚这个意思而胡乱使用的话，就会陷入非常尴尬的境况了。 someone turn me on 或者 turn on someone 都表示喜欢的意思。 如果你喜欢的人对你说，Sorry, you cannot turn me on. 那就意味着你没什么希望了。 不过，这是和谐版的解释，如果是限制版解释，我们先假定一个情境，比如： 当你的男朋友男友力爆棚，做出某种让你欲火焚身的事情时，你就可以对他说： Honey, you really turn me on right now. 接下来的情境就请你们自己脑补或实施吧。 我还是个孩子，实在是什么都不懂的。 2、 turn off： turn off的意思很简单，就是关闭一个设备的意思。 E.g. Please, turn off the TV, I am just studying. 但turn off和turn on一样，当连接的是人时，意思就不大一样了。 不过，也很好记，介词off通常有关闭的含义，而介词on则有打开的之意。 turn on someone 意味着打开心中的大门将他放进来，也就是喜欢的意思。 而turn off someone 自然就是关闭心门，拒之于千里之外，表示对其毫无兴致。 如果你的对象开始 turn you off，那可就糟糕了。 3、 turn out： turn out 表示结果。 E.g. I wanted to marry him, but turn out that he just toyed with my feelings. 4、 turn around： turn around 非常简单，就是转身、调头的意思。 E.g. Turn around, you've left the label in your jacket. turn around 不仅可以指人，当表示某种状况或形势的时候，也有转变、改善等意思。 5、 turn back： turn back 虽然也有转身的意思，但更加倾向于表示返回到原先所处位置的意思。 E.g. Once you move out, you cannot turn back. 这句话粗俗点翻译就是，你走啊，走了就别再回来了！ 6、 turn against： turn against 有反对、反目的意思。 E.g. We were great friends and then she turned against me, and started gossiping about me. 7、 turn in： turn in 有两个意思。 第一个意思是上交，如交作业、提交报告等。 E.g. I want you all to turn in your homework at 9.00pm. 第二个意思你绝对想不到是上床睡觉的意思。 当然，是正常的睡觉，非常单纯的那种，可不要想歪了。 E.g. Now, it's time to turn in. 8、 turn down ： turn down 通常是表示关小、调低的意思。 但这个意思太简单了，学过英语的人基本都会知道的，解释起来没什么意义。 turn down 的另外一个含义是拒绝的意思。 E.g. I asked him out but he turned me down. 9、 turn into： turn into 除了有拐进、进入的意思，还有成为、变成……的意思。 E.g. What a fantastic magic, he just turned into a lion. 10、 turn up： turn up 开大、调高的意思就不多说了。 turn up 还有（出其不意的）出现、发现、找出等意思。 E.g.
