居民委员会，英译为：Residents' committee，
所以通过上面两个英译可以把宁海路街道办事处英译成：Ninghai road sub-district office，
西康路社区居委会英译成：Xikang road community neighborhood committee。
若用Street office并没有反映出“街道办事处”的语用意义。street是一条街道。我们往往对“街道办事处”的概念不清,有时是指一个区域,有时又指这个区域的办事机构。
