Senior 翻译为“年长的”....Senior school表示高中，而高三完全不用Senior这个词！ 高三用“The third year”即可！如果一定要用Senior这个词，可说“The third year in senior school”。顺便说一句，senior与high不能同时用！就跟enter和in不能同时用是一个道理！！！！！

“高考”是“高等学校招生全国统一考试“的简称，用英语来表达常用的有以下3种：
1、national higher education entrance examination。“全国大学入门考试
2、national college entrance examination。“全国大学入门考试
3、 gaokao（拼音）, 这个不是中式英语，这个词已经被收录至最新版牛津词典。
每个单词的字母通常是不大写的，如果这个词出现在句子开头，第一个字母大写。
这个“高”(高等学校)是翻译成college还是university都是可以的，我们常常听到的解释是“college是学院，而university是综合性大学”，其实都可以。
MacMillan English Dictionary - American是这样解释college的：in the U.S., a place that gives students degrees. A school of this type can also be called a university if it is large enough to give degrees in more than one subject。
