第一篇:A Grain of Sand 一粒沙子 William Blake/威廉. To see a world in a grain of sand, And a heaven in a wild fllower, Hold infinity in the palm of your hand, And eternity in an hour. 第二篇:Love Your Life 热爱生活 Henry David Thoreau/享利. However mean your life is,meet it and live it ;do not shun it and call it hard names. It is not so bad as you are.It looks poorest when you are richest. The fault-finder will find faults in paradise.Love your life, poor as it is.You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hourss, even in a poor-house.The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the alms-house as brightly as from the rich man's abode;the snow melts before its door as early in the spring.I do not see but a quiet mind may live as contentedly there, and have as cheering thoughts,as in a palace. The town's poor seem to me often to live the most independent lives of any.May be they are simply great enough to receive without misgiving. Most think that they are above being supported by the town;but it often happens that they are not above supporting themselves by dishonest means.which should be more disreputable.Cultivate poverty like a garden herb, like sage.Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends,Turn the old, return to them.Things do not change;we change.Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts. The pure.the bright, the beautiful, That stirred our hearts in youth, The impulses to wordless prayer, The dreams of love and truth; The longing after something's lost, 在失去后为之感到珍惜的, The spirit's yearning cry, 使灵魂深切地呼喊着的, The striving after better hopes- 为了更美好的梦想而奋斗着的- These things can never die. The timid hand stretched forth to aid A brother in his need, A kindly word in grief's dark hour That proves a friend indeed ; The plea for mercy softly breathed, 轻声地乞求怜悯, When justice threatens nigh, 在审判临近的时候, The sorrow of a contrite heart- 懊悔的心有一种伤感-- These things shall never die. Let nothing pass for every hand Must find some work to do ; 尽你所能地去做; Lose not a chance to waken love- 别错失去了唤醒爱的良机----- Be firm, and just ,and true; 为人要坚定,正直,忠诚; So shall a light that cannot fade Beam on thee from on high. And angel voices say to thee---你将听到天使的声音在说----- These things shall never die.

Be a queen.Dare to be different.Be a pioneer.Be a leader.Be the kind of woman who in the face of adversity will continue to embrace life and walk fearlessly toward the challenge.Take it on!Be a truth seeker and rule your domain.whatever it is---your home, your office, your family---with a loving heart.Be a queen.Be tender.Continue to give birth to new ideas and rejoice in your womanhood...My prayer is that we will stop wasting time being mundane and mediocre...We are daughters of God---here to teach the world how to love...It doesn't matter what you've been through, where you come from, who your parents are---nor your social or economic status.None of the matters. What matters is how you choose to love, how you choose to express that love through your work, through your family, through what you have to give to the world...Be a queen.Own your power and your glory!

Please Let Me Have a Little World Please, my dear, be so generous as to let me have a little world of my own. If you find me scrawling on a piece of paper, please don't peep over my shoulders. It may be that I'm venting some pent-up feelings, long dennied expression, or trying to compose a little poem not yet presentable for a time being, or attempting to sketch out something visualized fron mychildhood memories which glowsing my minf like a rainbow. When I am in such a mood,Please leave me along and let me write as the pen dictates. Don't disturb me, my dear, when I get nostalgic over some old photos or letters which bring tears to my eyes or smiles on my lips, for those were things that had happened to me before I met you, the joys and sorrows, partings and reunions that taste like green olive or glitter like scattered pearls. They are my cherished memories which, ready as I am to share with you, I would like to indulge in by myself for a while. I hope you won't mind when I go without you for a nice chat with a close friend of mine. You are my bosom friend, but you cannot take the place of other friends any more than they can do yours. I need their care, encouragement and sobering criticism just as I do yours. A starless sky with a solitary moon would be dull and cheerless, why not let there be a moonlit night resplendent with twinkling stars. I may occasionally want to make a tour of faraway places. Please don't hold me back when I start picking for it. You are the center of my life, but certainly not the whole of it. I yearn to see the mysteries and wonders of the world miles away beyond the mountains; So let me have a chance to explore my "Alice's Wonderland" as a "lone ranger". Some time later when I come back to you with exotic experiences and fresh insights, I'm sure you will look at me in a new light. My dear, so long as you let me have such a little, little world, I'll be very much indebted to you. On Talking Silence is unnatural to man. He begins life with a cry and ends it in stillness. In the interval he does all he can to make a noise in the world, and there are few things of which he stands in more fear than of the absence of noise. Even his conversation is in great measure a desperate attempt to prevent a dreadful silence. If he is introduced to a fellow mortal and a number of pauses occur in the conversation, he regards himself as a failure, a worthless person, and is full of envy of the emptiest headed chatterbox. He knows that ninety-nine percent of human conversation means no more than the buzzing of a fly, but he longs to join in the buzz and to prove that he is a man and not a wax-work figure. The object of conversation is not, for the most part, to communicate ideas: it is to keep up the buzzing sound. There are, it must be admitted, different qualities of buzz: there is even a buzz that is as exasperating as the continuous ping of a mosquito. But at a dinner-party one would rather be a mosquito than a mute. Most buzzing, fortunately, is agreeable to the ear, and some of it is agreeable even to the mind. He would be a foolish man, however, who waited until he had a wise thought to take part in the buzzing with his neighbors. Those who despise the weather as a conversational opening seem to me to be ignorant of the reason why human beings wish to talk. Very few human beings join in a conversation in the hope of learning anything new. At the end of an evening during which they have said nothing at immense length, they justly plume themselves on their success as conversationalists. Romantic city - Paris Ah, beautiful Paris. For centuries this city has attracted the admiration of the world. The allure and charm of Paris captivate all who visit there. When you visit Paris, you don't have to spend all of your time visiting museums and monuments. They are certainly worthy of your time, but ignore them for a day. First take some time to look around and experience life in Paris. You'll find it charming. Take a stroll along the Seine River. Browse through the art vendors, colorful paintings. Peek through delicate iron gates at the well-kept gardens. Watch closely for the French attention to detail that has made France synonymous with good taste. You will see it in the design of a doorway or arch and in the little fountains and quaint balconies. No matter where you look, you will find everyday objects transformed into works by art. Spend some time in a quiet park relaxing on an old bench. Lie on your back on the green grass. When you need refreshment, try coffee and pastries at a sidewalk cafe. Strike up a conversation with a Parisian. This isn't always easy, though. With such a large international population living in Paris, true natives are hard to find these days. As evening comes to Paris, enchantment rises with the mist over the riverfront. You may hear music from an outdoor concert nearby: classical, jazz, opera or chansons, those French folk songs. Parisians love their music. The starry sky is their auditorium. You can also hear concerts in the chateaux and cathedrals. In Paris the Music never ends. Don't miss the highlight of Paris evening: eating out. Parisians are proud of their cuisine. And rightly so; it's world famous. Gourmet dining is one of the indispensable joys of living. You need a special guidebook to help you choose one of the hundreds of excellent restaurants. The capital of France boasts every regional specialty, cheese and wine the country has to offer. If you don't know what to order, ask for the suggested menu. The chef likes to showcase his best dishes there. Remember, you haven't tasted the true flavor of France until you've dined at a French restaurant in Paris.

就连今年就任的奥巴马也引用了那句著名的“This gonvernment,of the people,by the people, and for the people shall not perished from the earth!就是说我们这个民有,民享,民治的政府将永存与世上!全文仅10个句子,简练而又深刻。实乃演讲之精品!下面是全文希望楼主能喜欢Fourscore and seven years ago, our fathers brought forth upon this continent a new Nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. Now, we are engaged in a great Civil War, testing whether that Nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battlefield of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field as a final resting-place for those who gave their lives that Nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this. But, in a larger sense, we cannot dedicate, we cannot consecrate, we cannot hallow this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it far above our power to add or detract. The world will little note nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us, the living, rather to be dedicated to the great task remaining before us; that from these honored dead, we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion; that this Nation, under GOD, shall have a new birth of freedom; and that government of the People by the People and for the People shall not perish from the earth." Abraham Lincoln
