题号不同：将不强调难易次序的题目前后错位排列。答题卡不同：打乱先后次序。答题卡选涂项排列方向不同，一个是横着的一个是竖着的。选项不同：对不允许打乱先后次序的题目进行答案选项的错位。排版不同：对默写、填空、问答等非选择题的位置进行排版错位。

一、考试水平不同

英语A级相当于3级，B级相当于2级，英语AB级是给高职高专的学生做考试，和本科学生考四六级一样考不过拿不到毕业证。大学英语四六级是一个非常系统的英语考试，题量、难度、词汇要求都比高考英语难度要高。而且也是许多工作岗位的硬性要求，重要性不言而喻。相对来说英语AB级考试形式单一，考试难度也相对较低，容易成功。

二、考试时间不同

AB级考试一般在每年上半年6月、下半年12月各举行一次。大学英语四六级考试每年2次，分别在6月份和12月份。

意思是AB卷，由学校安排考A卷或者B卷。

凡参加高等学校英语应用能力考试A级或B级合格者，不允许再参加高等学校英语应用能力考试A级或

B级考试。但参加过高等学校英语应用能力考试A级或B级考试未合格者，可以再次报名参加考试。

附：成人英语三级考试报考资格

各高校在校成人本科生（专升本和高中升本科学生）。

已毕业学生在校期间未通过该考试的，毕业后一年内可以报名参加考试。

社会考生和普通高校本科生不得参加此考试。

英语三级AB卷注意事项

英语三级AB卷客观性试题用机器阅卷，要求考生从每题四个选项中选出一个最佳答案，并在答题纸（Answer Sheet）上相应部分用铅笔在字母中间划一横线。

英语三级AB卷每题只能选择一个答案，多选无效，该题按零分计。多项选择题记分只算答对的题数，答错不扣分。翻译类主观性试题按科学的评分标准评分，其答案必须写在另附的答题纸上。

整套试题共计100分，60分为及格标准。凡达到及格标准的考生均发合格证书。
