BUA是北京农学院的英文简称，北京农学院（Beijing University Of Agriculture）是北京市属本科院校，由北京市三委两局共建；入选国家首批卓越农林人才教育培养计划、北京市属高等学校“2011计划”。

北京农学院历史沿革
北京农学院历史可追溯到始建于1956年的河北省通县农业学校。
1958年，河北省通县农业学校与北京市农业合作干部学校合并，更名为北京市农业学校。
1961年，学校迁入现址。
1965年，北京市在北京市农业学校的基础上建立半农半读的北京农业劳动大学。
“文革”期间，北京农业劳动大学停办。
1978年，经国务院批准更名为北京农学院。
1983年，学校被确定为国家第二批学士学位授予单位。
1998年，学校通过国家教育部本科教学工作合格评价。

四川农业大学英文简称Sichuan Agricultural University，简称“川农大”（sau）。四川农业大学其历史源头是1906年在成都创办的第一所农业学堂"四川通省农业学堂"，1912年更名为四川高等农业学校，两年后又更名为四川公立农业专门学校，成为当时的5所专门学校之一，1927年5所专门学校合并成立四川大学，而它成了四川大学的农科学院。
1932年合并更名为"四川省立农学院"，1935年与重庆大学农学院合并成为"国立四川大学农学院"，1950年更名为"四川大学农学院"，1956年校址搬迁到雅安市，更名为"四川农学院"，1985年又更名为"四川农业大学"一直沿用至今。
历经上百年的砥砺前行，经过"川农人"的不懈努力，四川农业大学凭借着生物科技的特色、农业科技的优势，已经成为一所"双一流"重点高校，进入2020年川内最好大学排名前10强位居第6位（校友会）。
而在西南地区教学质量排行榜中居11位，而是2019年中国农林类高校中位居全国第8位，是西南地区最好的农林类大学，该校的农学、动物科学、动物医学等5个专业是国家一流专业。
目前学校占地面积4500余亩，在校生44000余人，现有教职工3700余人，其中教授、副教授接近1000人，博士生、硕士生导师1000余人，是一支拥有丰富教学经验的庞大师资队伍。目前学校有3个校区：雅安校区、成都校区、都江堰校区。
