提问：How old are you？ 你多大了？（你几岁了？）/What is your age？你几岁了？/How old is he？他多大了？（他几岁了？）回答：I am three years old. 我三岁了。/He is four years old.他四岁。简略一点回答也可以直接说，I am eighteen.或者直接回答数字。

问别人年龄常说的是How old are you？，但是对外国人，尤其是对女性来说，年龄是不太好谈的话题。直接问别人How old are you是不太礼貌的。如果听到外国朋友说how old are you，不是在问你的年龄，而是“真幼稚、你多大了还干这事！”的意思。
年龄的表达方式
1、表示“整岁”，直接用基数词或year，age，例如“他20岁”可表示为：
He is twenty years old．
He is at the age of twenty．
2、表示“在某人几十多岁”，用“in one's ＋基数词复数形式”，例如：
他七十多岁。He is in his seventies．（从70岁到79岁之间）
他今年十四、五岁。He is in his middle teens．
3、表示“快满多少岁”用进行时或将来时，例如“他快满十八岁了”可说成：
He will be eighteen years old．
It will be his eighteenth birthday．
