head作物体的“上端,顶部,前端”解，是单数名词，常接定冠词the和of，组成the head of的结构。
head可用作单位词，用于表示“个人，禽畜的头数”，可与不定冠词或数词连用，其复数形式往往不加s。

而在用于“观察力、看问题的眼光、注意力”等抽象意义时，则须使用复数形式。作“观点”“见解”解时总是用复数形式。

三、nose
1、含义：n. 鼻子；突出部分；嗅觉。v. 嗅到；探听。
2、用法
nose的基本意思是“鼻子”，指嗅觉器官,也可指“似鼻子的东西”，如汽车头、飞机头等。nose还可指一个人或动物对气味的感知能力，即“嗅觉”。
nose作“鼻子”“鼻状物”解时是可数名词，指“嗅觉”时是单数名词，其前多加不定冠词a。

四、nerve

作名词可表示“勇气、胆量”之意。nerve侧重指面临危险或在冒险的情况下具有冷静、清醒的头脑和坚定无畏的勇气。

heart的基本意思是指人体的脏器——“心，心脏”，用于比喻可表示人的“内心，心肠”“爱心”“感情”“勇气”等，还可引申指某物〔事物〕的“中心”或“要点”。
heart还可指“心形物”，用于纸牌还可指“红桃牌”，其复数表示“一组红桃牌”。heart有时还可用作亲昵的称呼语，意为“亲爱的人”。
