Regarding the International Children's Day, it is widely celebrated on June 1. Children's Day had its origin in the World Conference for the Wellbeing of Children in Geneva in 1925. The June 1 date has a Chinese-USA origin - and nothing to do with Communism. In 1925, the Chinese consul-general in San Francisco gathered a number of Chinese orphans to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival. This, of course, coincided with the conference mentioned above. June 1 somehow died out in the USA, only to be revived a couple of years ago. However, each country choses its own day to commemorate it.

The establishment of International Children's Day is related to the Lidice massacre, a massacre during World War II.

On June 10, 1942, German fascists shot and killed more than 140 male citizens over the age of 16 and all infants in the Czech village of Lidice, and took women and 90 children to concentration camps.

The houses and buildings in the village were burned down, and a village at the end of the road was thus destroyed by the German fascists. After the end of World War II, the world economy was depressed, thousands of workers were unemployed and lived in cold and hunger. The situation of children is even worse.

Some have contracted infectious diseases and died in batches. Others have been forced to work as child labourers and suffer so much that their lives and lives are not guaranteed.

In order to mourn the Lidice tragedy and all the children killed in the war all over the world, to oppose the killing and poisoning of children, and to safeguard the rights of children, in November 1949,

the International Federation of Democratic Women held a meeting of the Council in Moscow, and representatives of various countries indignantly exposed the crimes of killing and poisoning children by imperialists and reactionaries of various countries.

In order to guarantee children's right to life, health care and education, and to improve their lives, the Conference decided to celebrate International Children's Day on June 1 every year. Many countries at that time agreed, especially socialist countries.

June 1 is a festival for children in many countries of the world, especially in socialist countries.

In European and American countries, Children's Day is celebrated on different dates, and there are few public celebrations. Therefore, it is misunderstood that only socialist countries will designate June 1 as International Children's Day.

In order to protect the rights and interests of children all over the world, in November 1949, the Executive Committee of the International Federation of Democratic Women held in Moscow decided that June 1 would be the International Children's Day every year.

Halloween Halloween is an autumn holiday that Americans celebrate every year. It means "holy evening," and it comes every October 31, the evening before All Saints' Day. However, it is not really a church holiday, it is a holiday for children mainly.

More than two thousand years ago, the Christian Church in Europe set November 1 as "the day of saints in the world". "Hallow" means saint. It is said that Celtic people living in Ireland, Scotland and other places have moved the festival forward one day since 500 BC, that is, October 31.

They think it's the day when summer officially ends, that is, the beginning of new year and the beginning of severe winter. At that time, it was believed that the dead soul of the old man would return to his former residence on this day to search for the living spirit in the living man, so as to regenerate, and this was the only hope that the man could obtain regeneration after death.

The living people are afraid of the souls of the dead to seize life, so people put out the fire and candle light on this day, so that the souls of the dead can not find the living people, and they dress up as ghosts to scare the souls of the dead away. After that, they will light up the fire and candles again and start a new year's life.

Halloween is actually a celebration of autumn, just like may day is a celebration of spring. Druid, the priest of ancient Gaul, Britain and Ireland, had a grand festival to celebrate autumn, which lasted from midnight on October 31 to November 1 the next day.

They believed that on that night their great God of death, Saman, summoned all the ghosts of those who had died that year, and those evil spirits would be punished by being entrusted as animals.

Of course, as long as we think of this kind of ghost party, it is enough to frighten the simple minded fools at that time. So they set fire to the sky and watched the evil spirits closely. That's the beginning of the idea that witches and ghosts are everywhere on Halloween. So far, in some isolated parts of Europe, some people believe that this is true.
