Generation gap between parents and children
Nowadays , there are more and more misunderstanding between parents and children which is so- called generation gap . It is estimated that (75 percentages of parents often complain their children's unreasonable behavior while children usually think their parents too old fashioned).
Why have there been so much misunderstanding between parents and children?Maybe the reasons can be listed as follows . The first one is that ( the two generations,having grown up at different times, have different likes and dislikes ,thus the disagreement often rises between them) . 大学英语教学大纲中对英语写作本身的要求并不是很高,但很多同学在四级考试当中写作部分仍然拿不到高分。探究其主要的原因是方法不当,练习太少。很多同学知道在考试之前要准备一些作文,还要背一些范文。但要知道记范文也好,背范文也好,这只是输入的方式。而写作过程是输出的过程,要求你写出来,一定要把别人的语言转换成自己的语言写出来。如何提高英语写作能力是大学师生普遍关心的问题。笔者根据多年的教学经验总结了以下学习方法: 一、要改变传统观念 用母语写作的时候我们会想到运用一些写作技巧,以求文章新颖、别致,但若将此观念引用到大学英语四级考试作文中来,效果可能相反。原因主要有:汉英两种语言的差异很大,汉语强调语言的含蓄性;英语强调语言的直接性。因而,文章开门见山,更符合英语习惯。《大学英语教学大纲》关于四级写作的要求是培养学生初步的写作能力。具体体现在四个方面:切题与否,内容表达清楚与否,文字通顺连贯与否,语言错误多与否。由此看来,生动的语言还不是四级作文考察的重点。过分追求构思新颖,布局巧妙,语言生动。若没有较强的英语语言驾驭能力,这样做很容易跑题,或者思想表达不清,实在是得不偿失。四级考试的写作评分时,阅卷老师被要求在3分钟之内给出分数,没有时间阅读一篇晦涩难懂的文章。因此,四级作文的应试者的注意力应放在切题,以及清楚、准确表达思想上。没有必要将大量的时间花在构思写出一篇惊世骇俗的奇文上来。 二、判断文章的主题 这是写好文章最重要的前提。不能跑题,要确定文章所需的主语人称(we,people,students),文章的人称要统一。还要注意文章对动词的时态、语气有无特殊要求。2009,12的作文题和以前的相比有一定的难度。比较2009,6,2009,12以前的作文题目,主题都是非常明确的。比如2009,6博物馆免费开放的问题,2008,12一次性塑料袋的使用问题,2009,12需要把主题补充出来。提示1看不出主题,关键在提示2“不仅”这个词就很关键。我们常说“不仅……而且……”英语就是“not only……but also……”提示2告诉我们:“绿色校园”还有其他的含义。不仅是自然环境的美好,而且还要人文环境的健康。人文环境的建设是写作的重点。比如:培养保护环境的意识,建立和谐的人际关系。所以审题的时候要确定好主题,如果写到一半才发现主题不对,改主题时间已经来不及了。 三、根据提示句扩展内容,草拟提纲 提纲可以是汉语也可以是英语,简单明确,写出关键词即可,但是要全面,越全面英语写起来就越容易。列提纲的益处:1.内容完整(论点和论据清晰避免分析问题不全面);2.主次分配合理(避免虎头蛇尾,最后无话可讲);3.作文字数达标(各段要分配好字数)。每年的考题都有提示句,提示句的作用不可忽视。提示句告诉我们以下内容:根据提示句确定段落安排(分几段),根据提示句确定段落内容(写什么)。根据提示句确定主题句(主要段落第一句写什么)。有的同学反映作文无话可说,下面的方法帮助扩展内容:抽象-具体-抽象。比如:和谐宿舍的必要性。和谐和必要性都是抽象词,比较笼统,把和谐这个词转变成具体的事情。和谐的事有互相帮助,互相学习,互相照顾,聚会,这些事的意义:心情愉快有利于学习,有利于团结,有利于身体和心灵的健康,有利于进步。“如何创造和谐的宿舍生活”需要写出具体的方法。你可以想:不和谐的时候怎么解决问题的,比如和同学吵架,怎么解决的。包容别人的缺点,关心生病的同学,经常和同学交流,多参加集体活动。从这些例子当中选两三个就可以。 四、段落安排 段落(paragraph)是由表达单一中心思想(controllingidea or central idea)的一组句子(包括主题句topic sentence,推展句supporting sentences及结论句concluding sentence)构成,是文章结构的基本独立单位。注意:一个段落一定要表达一个中心思想。主题句(topic sentence)是表达段落主题的句子。它用以概括段落大意,要求全段其他文字都围绕它展开。英语主题句的位置。主题句通常放在段落的开端,其特点是开门见山地摆出问题,然后加以详细说明。其作用是使文章的结构更清晰,更具说服力,便于读者迅速地把握主题和想象全段的内容。主题句可以放在段中起到承上启下的作用,或放在段尾起概括全段的作用。但初学者比较难于掌握,因而在四级考试中,考生应尽量采用将主题句放在段落开头的写作手法。对于阅卷老师来说更容易知道你在表达什么。主题句分为中心和范围两部分。中心告诉读者主题句要表达的主要内容,范围告诉大家主要内容由几部分构成。 五、结尾句的写作 结尾句会使读者对全文的中心思想留下深刻的印象,可以增添文章的效果和说服力,让人深思,回味无穷。确切地说,结尾的作用就是概括全文内容,进一步强调或肯定文章的中心思想,使读者加深印象;有时也用于展望未来,提出今后方向或令人深思的问题给读者留下回味和思考的余地。三段的四级写作自己可以加两三句话作为结尾。字数够的话就不加,避免出现更多的语言错误。作文水平比较好的同学可使用。

考过了就不要再想了大学英语四级写作评分标准简单来说,是以下几条:14分 文章切题。文字通顺,条理清楚,无重大语言错误,仅有个别小错。11分 文章切题。文字通顺,条理清楚,但有少量语言错误。8分 基本切题。有些地方表达不清,文字勉强连贯,语言错误相当多,其中有一些是严重错误。5分 基本切题。思想表达不清,连贯性差,有较多的语言严重错误。 2分 条理不清,思路紊乱,语言支离破碎,大部分有错误,且多数为严重错误。详细具体的定义为:考生在考试时应该明确作文的评分标准,根据大纲规定,短文的评分标准是:1.正确表达思想;2.意义连贯;3.无重大语法错误。这三者是互补的,但又各有侧重。为评分的方便,国家考题组又将评分原则归纳为八个字,即“总体评分”和“综合评判”,并作了相应的解释。前者指的是“阅卷人员就总的印象给出奖励分,而不是按语言点的错误数目扣分”。后者指的是“要考虑作文是否切题,是否充分表达思想,也要考虑是否用英语清楚而确切地表达思想,也就是要考虑语言上的错误是否造成理解上的障碍,用词和造句是否清楚确切地表达思想”。根据这八个字,又将阅卷标准分为五等:2分,5分,8分,11分及14分,每一等都可上下浮动一分,各等的具体标准如下:2分--条理不清,思路紊乱,语言支离破碎或大部分句子均有错误,且多数为严重错误。5分--基本切题。表达思想不够清楚,连贯性差。有较多的严重语言错误。8分--基本切题。表达思想比较清楚,文字尚连贯;但语言错误较多,其中有少量的严重错误。11分--切题。表达思想清楚,文字连贯,但有少量语言错误。14分--切题。表达思想清楚,文字通顺,连贯性较好。基本无语言错误。除了以上五个主要标准之外,评分时还考虑以下三个因素:l.白卷,作文与题目毫不相关,或只有几个孤立的词而无法表达思想,则给零分。2. 字数不足者酌情扣分(81-89个词扣1分,7l-80个词扣2分,61-70个词扣3分,51一60个词扣4分,不足50个词最多只给5分)。所计字数不包括卷面上已给主题句。3.只写一段者0-4分,只写两段者0-9分。
