正确拼写是double，不是doubel；该词只能表示加倍即2倍，不是泛指一切倍数，英语表示不同倍数分别有不同的词 ：两倍double 三倍treble/ triple 四倍quadruple 五倍quintuple六倍sextuple 七倍septuple 八倍octuple 九倍nonuple十倍decuple；如果嫌这样太麻烦不好记，也可以用数字+times表示倍数，两倍two times 三倍three times，以此类推。
