上巳(sì)节,俗称三月三,汉民族传统节日,该节日在汉代以前定为三月上旬的巳日,后来固定在夏历三月初三。传统的上巳节在农历三月的第一个巳日,也是祓禊的日子,即春浴日。同时上巳节又称女儿节。古时以三月第一个巳日为“上巳”,汉代定为节日。“是月上巳,官民皆絜(洁)于东流水上,曰洗濯祓除,去宿垢疢(病),为大絜”(《后汉书·礼仪志上》)。后又增加了临水宴宾、踏青的内容。魏晋以后,上巳节改为三月三,后代沿袭,遂成汉族水边饮宴、郊外游春的节日。[1]
