塞尔达传说（日文：ゼルダの伝说；英文：The Legend of Zelda；香港与台湾地区译名：萨尔达传说）是任天堂所推出的知名游戏系列。
最初于1986年在任天堂旗下的Famicom平台上推出了第一款作品《海拉鲁的幻想：塞尔达传说》，之后发展成为系列作品。
在天空之剑之后，塞尔达公主被魔人古夫石化，需要皮克罗之剑的力量来解除石化。但圣剑被折断，于是林克找到了能修圣剑的工匠。
但是这次林克在途中却遇到了一个能把林克缩小的帽子精灵，而那帽子居然也是被古夫魔化的。在修好剑后，林克便借助那把剑，收集使剑发出圣力的四个元素。
在收集完毕后，拯救了公主，帽子也变成原型，离开了林克，并且送给了林克一顶绿色的帽子作为纪念。本作是塞尔达系列交代了绿帽传统的由来的一作，也是四部塞尔达原点作之一，第一次交代了塞尔达传说时之笛之前的故事情节。
