1、Stoke：一击。

A movement of the players racket with an intention to hit the shuttle.

2、Rally : 回合。

A sequence of one or more strokes starting with the service ,until the shuttle ceases to be in play.

3、Receiving side ：接发球方。

the side opposing the serving side.

The side having the right to serve.

1、Right service count：右发球区

羽毛球场成长方形， 发球员的分数为0或双数时，双方运动员均应再各自的右边发球发球或接发球 。。

2、Left service court：左发球区

一局中，发球员的分数为单数时，双方运动员均应在各自的左发球区发球或接发球。...

3、choice of court ends or service：选择场地或发球权

比赛开始前，双方需要确定选场地或发球权。

4、good return：合法还击

对方发球或还击后，本方运动员必须击球，使球直接越过或绕过球网装置。或触及球网装置后，再触及对方台区。凡属上述情况，均为合法还击。

5、alternate courts：交换发球区

运动员只有在本方发球得分时才交换发球区。除此之外，运动员继续站在上一回合的原发球区不变，以此保证运动员间发球的交替。

6、deception：假动作

通过虚假的动作来掩盖自己的真实目的，达到蒙蔽对手眼睛的效果。作为技战术的一种比较常用。

7、change court： 交换场地

以下情况，运动员应交换场区：第一局结束；第二局结束（如果有第三局）；在第三局比赛中，一方先得11分时。

如果运动员未按规则8.1的规定交换场区，一经发现．在死球时立即交换。已得比分有效。
