Modify~修饰语，修饰性形容词一个词或词组，例如一个形容词，不用连接动词，紧接于它所修饰的名词之后；如在脸色苍白的小女孩里，苍白的 A word or word group, such as an adjective, that is placed adjacent to the noun it modifies without a linking verb; for example, pale in the pale girl.
“修饰”这个词在英语中可以用一个单词modify或qulify，也可用短语add to the meaning of来表达。翻译有下面两种：1. Adjectives modify（qulify) nouns.（形容词修饰名词）。2.Adjectives add to the meaning of nouns.(形容词起修饰名词作用。)
