try out的意思：试验, 选拔（尤指运动比赛或者角色甄选）

用法如下：

1、try out sth（试试某物／事）或tryoutforsth（参加运动比赛或者角色甄选）

如：Hewilltryoutfor the football team.他要参加足球队的选拔（测试）

2、Letmetryoutmynewshoes．让我试试这双新鞋子。

可以根据语境判断其意思，如果是trying out，则是炼脂，脂肪熔炼的意思。

try out 与try out for的区别：

try out to do是尝试做某事，其中try out有实验的意思。1、try out for是参加选拔的意思。

2、try out for 比try out多了一个目的。try out是试验，试用的意思，例如try out this method试验这个方法，try out my new bicycle试用我的新自行车。
