味道（taste），是指在我们的口腔内，包括舌头的感觉。
风味（flavor），是指口感和香气的综合。
味道（taste）发生在我们的口腔里。所有食物和饮品带给我们口腔和舌头的一切感受都被称作为味道（taste）。我们的舌头有2种受体，一种受体是关于味觉的，被称作为“味蕾”，味蕾存在于我们整个口腔中。另外一种受体叫做“口感”，口感是由我们的口腔和舌头内部大量的末梢神经来感知的。
