以2020年为例，海南省中考满分120分的语文、数学以及英语成绩划分ABCDEF六个等级的具体标准是为各学科成绩等级根据考试成绩从高到低以全省当年考生人数按A等级10%、B等级20%、C等级30%、D等级20%、E等级15%、F等级5%依次确定；
另外2020年海南省中考的道德与法治、历史、物理、化学、生物、地理每科卷面满分100分。其中的物理、化学实验操作技能考查成绩按A、B、C、D四个等级划分，各等级人数比例不限。

2020年海南省中考成绩呈现方式：
1、语文、数学、英语（含听力）、道德与法治、历史、物理、化学、生物、地理科目均采取实分制评卷，物理、化学实验操作技能考查直接采用等级评分。
2、考试科目成绩以学科等级和各考试学科原始分总分呈现并公布。笔试科目不公布、不查询各科原始分。考试科目缺考考生成绩以“缺考”记录，考查科目缺考考生以D等记入该科目等级。
3、参加生物、地理补考的考生成绩按其当年成绩中对应的百分位与上年度同学科成绩相同百分位所对应的成绩认定，确定后的成绩按30%计入2020年的中招录取总分。生物、地理科成绩当届有效。
