一、many
1、many用作形容词时后接复数名词，表示许多同样的人或物（但数目不明确），用作主语时，其谓语动词要用复数形式。常用于否定句中。

3.many多用作定语，只有在对比结构中，可用作表语，往往含有“虽然多”或“确实多”的意思。
二、few
1、few用来强调小数目的否定意义，相当于说“很少”或“几乎没有”，它的含义是该数目令人失望或令人吃惊的小。
2、a few的意思与few不同，它没有否定含义，它表示“有几个”，有时甚至还表示“一些”。
