The Pet Shop
Tom and Mary always wanted a dog, and finally their parents agreed. So the kids went to the local pet shop and had a look around. It was a very small shop that didn’t have many pets. The shop owner said that there were only two dogs to choose from.
One was a big black dog and the other was a tiny white one. Tom wanted the big dog while Mary preferred the tiny one. They couldn’t persuade each other. Mary suggested they race home and the winner could choose the dog. Tom agreed, but he wanted to win the race so much that he played a trick on Mary. “Look at your shoes!” Tom said. When Mary looked down, he ran off and got a head start. He ran as fast as he could, and soon Mary was left far behind. Finally, Tom got home and Mary arrived a few minutes later. “It was unfair!” She shouted angrily. So they decided to race back to the shop. However, when they arrived they couldn’t see the dogs. They asked the owner where the dogs were. The owner explained that a few minutes after they left, a man walked in and bought the two dogs.

英语听说考试的技巧
总体策略
1.首先坐下后要调整话筒,让话筒尽量靠近嘴巴,保证录音质量,否则说得再流利,录音录不清楚,等于白说一样,想拿高分就别想了。
2.在考试的时候会有草稿纸供童鞋们做笔记,所以平时的时候一定要练习一下速记速写的的能力。对考试很有帮助。
3.录音答题时不要慌张,要保持镇定。确保自己说出来的话很自信有底气。这样才有可能拿到高分。
4.考试的时候每一段录音放完后会滴一声然后进入答题时间,你会看到一个倒计时间的条,别太赶着答题,因为有时候滴一声后1-3秒内电脑还没进入录音状态,如果抢答,抢答的部分电脑没有记录,会影响自己的考试分数。
Part A 策略步骤
1.第一遍放播音的时候先不要着急跟读,一定要认真听说话者的发音、语调和停顿的地方,留意出现的陌生单词的读音,快速笔记。
2.在给出第二遍播音前,它会给出原文文字并停1分钟左右给你练习,快速读一遍,记下不会读的单词,等下一次播音。
3.第二遍边听播音边看视频上文字时,最为关键的是要注意说话者的语频,关注之前不会读的词。
4.录音时最为关键的是语频要与视频上显示的保持一致,一定要大声读出来,碰到不懂的单词,按字母规律发音,实在不会就蒙一个读音,但是不要不出声。
总结:第一部分最看重的是流利度和连贯性,即使遇到不会的词,随便读一个也不要停在那里,否则会非常影响自己的流利度的分数。

第二部分是三问五答。
三问是看着中文字幕翻译成英文,自己问完后,对方会回答;五答是要用英文问对方5个问题且无字幕。
在三问环节,计算机会回答两遍,计算机回答问题的内容往往是下一部分回答的答案或提示 。
问什么?
在看英文短片时要在听懂大意的同时留意涉及的人物、事物、时间、行为等相关信息,并适当做笔记,在短时间内强记细节信息如年代、单价、折扣价、门牌号等等。所以这一步最重要的就是速记能力
Part C 策略步骤
第三部分是电脑念一篇短文(一般是故事)念两遍,然后给时间你整理练习,之后自己复述故事内容,所以听的时候一定要做笔记,越详细越好,尽可能把你听到的信息说出来。
在说的时候还要注意明确复述时使用的人称或称谓,代词he、she一定要弄清,不要犯低级错误;复述时要连贯,不要连续重复某个词或某句话,还有就是不要背原文,一定要用自己的话说。
最后说说平时的练习。每天早上可以早起15-20分钟就可以,听一篇英语短文,一定要力争听懂。听完后再自己复述一遍,可以录下来。之后再听原文录音,看自己的录音和原文相差多少。多练一些,然后分析一下自己哪里容易漏掉,或者那个语法容易出错,然后重点练习。

2说好前几句

在Part B的三问五答里,有些考生知道自己回答错了,不敢再说,呆呆地等着时间过去。其实,当考生在录音的过程中,如果发现自己答错了,但若能在规定时间内纠正过来,评卷老师还是会以考生最后纠正过来的答案给分的。
5练练你的声音
洪亮的声音更具有穿透力,给人精神饱满自信的感觉。相反,懒洋洋的声音给人催眠作用,让本来已经有倦意的老师感觉更加累。然而,声音也不宜时大时小。考生可要知道,往往可能因为声音突然变得小声而很容易引起老师的注意,很容易察觉和判断到考生或是不会,或是没有把握或信心不足,从而影响了评卷老师对考生的印象,当然就影响了考生该题的得分。相反,保持自信、字正腔圆的表达一定能打动评卷老师,考生的得分怎会不高呢?
另外,特别提醒:嘴巴不能太靠近话筒,否则连不该录进去的呼吸声或喘气声也录得清清楚楚。整个过程更不要随意动话筒,如摘下等,这样很容易导致录音不成功而出现零分现象。2012年广州一模听说考试的PartA 中,抽查了6804份录音,其中有7人因录音不成功而得0分,实在可惜。
6练好“That'sall. Thank you!”
在复述故事的Part C中,尽自己能力多说,如果能说上80秒或稍多点的时间为最好。复述的故事要完整,用好一些过渡词,如开始时:One day/morning/afternoon/evening/The other days/Many years ago/Long long ago/Once upon a time等;又如发展故事时:Then/After that/One day later/ But/ However/ Suddenly/ Therefore/ Unfortunately/ To my surprise等;结束故事时:Finally/At last/ Eventually 等。
另外,说的时候,不妨看看右下角的时间去调整自己的速度,太快,不像在复述,而且很快就讲完;太慢,评卷老师听起来会烦。如果停顿的时间太长再继续就更加不提倡了(因为评卷老师可能误以为考生已说完,而不继续往下听了),因此,千万不能停顿太久!另外,考生将故事复述完后,别忘了有礼貌地说一声“That’s all. Thank you!”

准确的语音语调离不开考生反复地听,反复地模仿。广州一模英语听说考试中占20分的Part A部分的模仿朗读题评分标准中,单纯语音语调就占12分。在反复的模仿中,特别注意要把单词读准确,不能随意漏掉类似s/z/iz/t/ d/ id等尾音;要模仿好语音语调,避免唱读,节奏平淡无味,没有抑扬顿挫。
