约翰·丹佛（John Denver，1943年12月31日～1997年10月12日），生于新墨西哥州罗斯维尔城。
德裔美国乡村民谣歌手。
丹佛在南方长大，1964年大学毕业后他迁到洛杉矶，在城市民谣俱乐部中演唱。第2年他加入了查德·米切尔三重唱组。
1969年，丹佛录制唱片《节奏与原因》。
这张唱片中收录了他自己演唱的《乘着喷气飞机离去》。
