上海小学和初中的语文教材，从2019学年开始，从一年级——九年级，全部使用部编版教材。
2019学年春季以后，上海小学1-5年级语文教材封面及目录如下：
四年级（下）目录
小学（五四学制）英语从上学期开始，上海1000多所小学的一年级开始使用《牛津英语教材（上海版）》版本。
而且上海的小学里，绝大多数使用的英语教材是《牛津英语教材上海版》，还有一部分使用的是《新世纪版》。不过，在以英语为特色的民办学校，除了这两个官方版本之外，还会使用一些其他的教材，比如《朗文国际英语教材》《新概念》《3L》等热门英语教材。
