xjc916的解释可以参考，但是我要对楼主的水平提出质疑了。1。可以翻译成He not only can sing but also can dance.但是中国人所谓的“不但而且”不一定非得用not only ...but also ，你可以讲给学生，用着别扭的时候用别的词。如果非得用，而且一定要把can提到前面，省略后面那个的话，那么它不能和 not的缩写形式连在一起。如此解释便可。2。be当然要遵循它自己所在词组的原则了。你认为有矛盾，那是因为你根本不知道There are full of这样的句子对不对，误人子弟阿。There be后面的中心词一定要是名词，难道这个你也不知道吗？知道了这个，怎么会困惑呢？要么用Our life is full of ...要么用There are lots of...
