On the evening of the year of 2008,at the city of Sichuan in China,an earthquake suddenly took place.Many people were deep in sleep when the earthquake happened,and most of them didn't have the sense of rocking.This made lots of them lose their lives in the sleep. When they became aware of the situation,the earthquake had caused huge disasters.Almost all the buildings were razed to the ground,parts of them sinked to the sea.Further more,the supplies of the water and electricity were cut down,and numbers of roads were ruined.What's worse,the communications with the outside world were more difficult.This city became an "isolated island". At last,it was estimated that the earthquake took away about more than 140000 lives of the people,and left huge number of people who were hurt and homeless.The losses of the disaster caused by the earthquake were tremendous.Some people said that this is the most serious earthquake in history,and we should remember this tragedy forever.
