一、含义不同。

swear语气更重，偏向于“发誓”， promise偏向于保证，许诺。用法结构基本一样，就是语气不同，场合不同。

2、If you make a promise, you should keep it.

如果做出了承诺，就应该遵守。

三、主客观不同。

promise 指保证一定会做某事或提供某物，或某事一定会发生，侧重于自己的主观意向，用言语使人感到放心。swear 指以发誓的形式作出保证，或强调自己所说的是真话。
