The Fox and the CrowOne day a crow stood on a branch near his nest and felt very happy with the meat in his mouth. At that time, a fox saw the crow with the meat, so he swallowed and eagerly thought of a plan to get the meat. However, whatever the fox said to the crow, the crow just kept silent. Until the fox thought highly of the crow’s beautiful voice, the crow felt flattered and opened his mouth to sing. As soon as the meat fell down to the ground, the fox took the meat and went into his hole.“狐狸和乌鸦”有一天,一只乌鸦站在窝旁的树枝上嘴里叼着一片肉,心里非常高兴。

Fox and crow

One day, the crow got a piece of meat and was seen by the fox. The fox wanted to get the meat from the crow. As the crow was holding meat in his mouth on the branch, the fox couldn't get it under the tree. His eyes turned: "Dear crow, how are you?" No answer. "Dear crow, how is your child?" The crow looked at the fox and still didn't answer. The fox wagged his tail. "Your feathers are so beautiful, colorful, more beautiful than other birds, and your voice is so good. Can you sing me a song?" The crow was very proud and began to sing. But as soon as he opened his mouth, the meat fell off, and the fox ran away with the meat in his mouth.

A doe had lost one of her eyes, and could not see anyone approaching her from one side. In order to avoid any danger, she always ate on a high cliff near the sea, and looked at the land with her good eye when she was eating. By this means she could see whenever the hunters approached her on land. But one hunter found out that she was blind in one eye. He rowed a boat under the cliff, and shot her from the sea. An ant was drinking at a river. Suddenly he slipped, and fell into the water. A dove took pity on him. She threw a small branch into the river. The ant seized the bough, and swam back to the shore. She made good friends with the ant. A man walking in the night slipped from a rock. Afraid that he would fall down thousands of feet, because he knew that place was a very deep valley, he took hold of a branch that was hanging over the rock. In the night all he couls see was a bottomless abyss. He shouted, his own shout reflected back--there was nobody to hear. You can imagine that man and his whole night of scare. Every moment there was death, his hands were becoming cold, he was losing his grip…… and as the sun came out he looked down and he laughed. There was no abyss. Just six inches down there was a rock. He could have rested the whole night, slept well---the rock was big enough---but the whole night was a nightmare. Fear is only six inches deep. Now it is up to you whether you want to go on cling to the branch and turn your life into a nightmare, or whether you would love to leave the branch and stand on your feet. There is nothing to fear.

The Tortoise and the HareOnce upon a time, rabbits were the fastest animals, while turtles were the slowest animals. The tortoise was not convinced, so he found a rabbit and agreed to race the next morning. At last, the rabbit and the tortoise ran at the sound of "Start". Soon, the rabbit left the tortoise behind. The rabbit thought: The tortoise runs so slowly that I don't think it will ever outrun me. Let's sleep first! As soon as the rabbit jumped, it just jumped onto the grass and fell asleep. The tortoise kept running. It ran for a long time and finally reached the finish line. The rabbit woke up, saw that the tortoise had reached the destination, and left angrily.
