我的家乡在佛山，佛山的变化可真是大啊！
记得我二三岁时，这儿的房屋是那样的残残旧旧，又低又矮，房顶是用瓦做成的，一下雨，那瓦又不结实，水就从瓦里往下滴，令人恶心。那时候，天真幼稚的我，不禁产生这样的疑问：这房子为什么这么破烂，令人生厌呢？
幼年，毕竟是短暂的。光阴似箭，岁月如流，我七岁上学，这房子也发生了变化，低矮潮湿的砖瓦房被拆除了，盖上了幢幢的楼房大道，那楼房不像从前那样只用砖瓦做成，只有一层楼，现在已经改用钢、水泥、瓷片……又有七八层楼那么高，还有楼台花园呢。
周围都种上了一些花草树木，说是净化空气。家家户户都装上窗，让人们看到外面的世界。
一年四季，花草树木给房子带来了美。
