英语分为几个类型

英式英语,美式英语

英语严格说只有一种，你说的美式、英式无非是发音习惯不同和一些词汇的拼写不同，但没有本质区别。如果这样分，还有澳式英语（澳大利亚和新西兰人说的，口音极重），印度式英语（带着南亚口音，印度巴基斯坦尼泊尔人常说），还有中国式英文（Chinglish)，新加坡式英文，香港式英文等。不过后面三种都不能算英语范畴，因为这些国家地区或者不是把英语作为官方语言，或者不是一个独立的国家，不能自成一系。

英语是一种语言，可以类比语文。语文分字，词，句，段，篇，章。英语分单词，词组，句子。段，篇，章就属于阅读的内容了。英语还有听力和语法。所以，英语大致分六个方面，单词，词组，句型，阅读，听力和语法。

其实英语就是英语的，美式英语和英式英语只不过是读音上有些细微的差别而已。并非两种不同的英语。不懂追问。
