英文书信的日期

英文书信信文一般应包含如下部分：“信头”、“信内地址”“称呼”、“正文”、“结束语”和“签名”。格式如下表：

上文的格式中已经显示出这些内容应该出现在信纸的什么地方，下面主要介绍一下每一部分内容的具体写法。

(1) 信头：信头指的是发信人的地址和日期，但不要写发信人的姓名。地址写法与信封上地址的格式顺序相同。在日期上，美国人采用“月、日、年”的顺序(如： August 2, 2013)，日与年之间有逗号;而英国人则多用“日、月、年”顺序，且日、月、年之间都不用逗号(如：2 August 1982)。

(2) 信内地址：信内地址指的是收信人的姓名和地址。收信人的姓名一般都要加上头衔或尊称以表示礼貌。常用的有：Mr.(先生)，Mrs.(太太)，Miss(小姐)，Ms(女士，不区别婚否)，Dr.(博士)，President(总统)，Premier(总理)。地址的写法和顺序跟上述的信封格式是一样的

(3) 称呼：收信人的称呼写在信纸左侧，在信内地址一至两个行距下(若无信内地址，则向上推至信首)。一般来说在收信人的名字和尊称前加上惯用词Dear，例如：Dear Ms Liu, Dear Professor Chen等。

(4) 正文: 这是书信的主要部分。在写公务信件的时候，应该力求开门见山，语言简洁，层次清晰，重点突出。在给亲友写信的时候，尽量做到态度热情、语言简练。

(5) 结束语：与汉语的书信一样，英语书信也需要一个客套的结束语，内容和格式都比较单一固定：结束语的第一个字母总是大写，后面用逗号。若写给比较陌生的对象或者公务信件常常用“Yourself turly”, “YoursFaithfully”, “yours sincerely”，

在美国经常省略Yours，直接用Sincerely一词;若写给上级、长者或者老师，常用“Yours respectfully”;若写给亲属或密友的话则常用“Your loving dad (mon, daughter,son)”，“Yours”，“Yours ever”，“Yours affectionately”等。

(6) 签名：为了体现信件的真实性，写信人在一般都应该在信件的结尾处亲笔签名。最好也能打印重复一遍，这是为了方便对方辨认。如果是给陌生人写信，女性朋友在打印签名的时候都用括号注上“Mrs.”或“Miss”，这样对方就知道怎么称呼你。

(7)Date ：很好理解，写信的日期

格式可以是：

AE: Month/Day/Year;

BE: Day/Month/Year;

(月份拼写要全，日期只需要纯数字)

英语日期的表达方法

在日期方面，美英的表达方式是有差别的。以日为先，月份为后，此为英国式，美国式则与此相反。

如二零零九年三月二日的写法：March 2, 2009（美），2nd March 2009（英）。

在美式的写法中，1st， 2nd， 3rd的st， nd， rd是不使用的。由于日期书面表达不同，读法也不一样。如1987年4月20日，英式的写法是20th April 1987，读成the twentieth of April， nineteen eighty-seven；

美式的表达是April 20,1987，则读成April the twentieth， nineteen eighty-seven。同样，全部用数字表达日期时，英美也有差别。

1998年5月6日按照英国式应写成6/5/98，而按照美国式应写成5/6/98；01/08/1998是英国式的1998年8月1日，按照美国的表达方式却是1998年1月8日，美国的1998年8月1日应写成08/01/1998。

日期的表示法

1、日期的写法(书面语)和读法(口语)稍有不同：

如“十月一日”可以写成October1

October1st

1stOctober

(the)1stofOctober等

表示月份的词也可用缩略式，如Oct.1，1Oct.

但是在口语中通常只有两种读法October(the)first或thefirstofOctober。

2、日期与星期排列时，通常是星期在前，日期在后。

如：HearrivedonFriday，May10.

他于5月10日(星期五)到达。

3、日期的缩写

以-first结尾的，写成数字就要加st。如：thirty-first，31st

以-second结尾的，写成数字就要加nd。如：twenty-second，22nd

以-third结尾的，写成数字就要加rd。如：thirty-third，33rd

英语书信格式：
