一、使用范围不同：
1、mountain山，山岳；山脉；一大堆；大量；常用来表示 “山脉”，通常指比hill 大或陡峭的高山。
例如：It’s the highest mountain in the world.它是世界上最高的山。
2、hill一般用作“小山”、“斜坡”、“丘岭”的意思，与“mountain”不同，特指较小的山丘。

二、意思不同：
