“参加”在英语中有很多说法，如 attend，take part in，go in for，enter into，join，join in，participate in 等等。究竟用哪一个，要看你说的是参加什么。不同的词短语有不尽相同的搭配，用的场合也不尽相同，因此选用不能太随意。假如你所参加某个组织或某（群）人，就用 join,如join group one参加第一组， 但如果你说参加做什么事，那么就用join，如 join in dancing。再比如，要是说参加某会议，那英文习惯上就是 attend a meeting，但要是说参加某一个活动呢，那就英文就是take part in an activity; 这里participate in也可啊，只是语气要端庄或严肃点，用于较为正式的场合。
