施平 男，1956年生，黑龙江省哈尔滨市人。1982年毕业于哈尔滨工业大学机械工程系，获学士学位；1984年在美国史蒂文斯理工学院（Stevens lnst of Tech．）获得机械工程硕士学位；1988年在美国麻萨诸塞大学（Univ．of Massachusetts）获得博士学位。1988年至1990年为哈尔滨工业大学航天学院博士后，1990年开始任哈工大机械工程系副教授、教授。九三学社社员。黑龙江省八届政协委员。从事玻璃、工程陶瓷等无机非金属材料的断裂，疲劳及可靠性，工程陶瓷材料的机械加工，复合材料的机械性能，计算机在机械工程中的应用等方面的研究工作。曾先后获得省部级科技进步二、三等奖各一项。先后在J．of American Ceramic Society，Physics and Chemistry of Glasses，《硅酸盐学报》、《硅酸盐通报》、《宇航学报》，以及其它学术刊物和国际会议上发表论文30余篇。其中一些论文的摘要被美国权威检索刊物EI．SCI以及英国和俄罗斯等国家的检索刊物收录。主编和主审教材各一本。曾被评为航空航天工业部优秀青年教师。
