Kerrigan改写为《在灿烂的莫霍克谷》（In the Bright Mohawk Valley）于纽约发行，或是在1925年被Carl T. Sprague翻唱成《牛仔情歌》（Cowboy Love Song），另外也有被曲名为《灿烂的薛尔曼谷》（Bright Sherman Valley）、《灿烂的月桂谷》（Bright Laurel Valley）等等，而改编成中文歌词流传的版本则为《微风吹过原野》。引用：收录为美国导演约翰·福特1940年执导电影愤怒的葡萄插入曲。作为1941年由Joseph Kane执导的同名美国电影《红河谷》开头歌。日本吉卜力工作室于2011年上映的剧院动画《来自虞美人之坡》将《红河谷》选作为插入歌，同时该片导演宫崎吾朗将原文英语歌词翻译编写成日文版。
