因为看了《中国新说唱》，有没有感觉英语上了一个level ，都有勇气过四级了呢skr~skr~skr~ 这个暑假，又被《中国新说唱》霸屏了，酷学Girl在追比赛的同时，也深挖嘻哈文化的历史，今天就从说唱音乐中常见的英文单词说起。 Hip-hop ： hip 的义项中有几个意思可能和嘻哈相关，作为名词有臀部的意思，在非正式表达中有新潮的、时髦的意思，作为感叹词有“加油！”的意思。 hop 作为动词是蹦蹦跳跳的意思。所以合起来直译为“摇摆的屁股”。 嘻哈亚文化的起源来自贫民窟的街区聚会兄弟,所以嘻哈最开始应该是描述了一种大家在一起唱跳的画面。这种文化以四个不同的元素著称，代表了文化的不同表现形式：说唱音乐 （oral），转唱或“DJ”（aural），b-boying（physical）和涂鸦艺术（visual）。 为了吸引客流，DJ( disc jockey,有音乐唱片节目主持人和舞曲唱片播放员的意思 ) 们开始尝试着用双唱机来播放音乐，同时舞会的主持人MC（ master of ceremonies, emcee 节目主持人、司仪）不满足于惯常的开场白，而是尝试着用有节奏的说唱配合着音乐从而带动舞会气氛。 这种职能上的微妙转变，其实为 DJ 和 MC 赋予了音乐创作的可能，而这两个此前完全被排除在唱片产业之外的音乐执行者，逐渐地开始成为音乐的表演者和创作者。这也是 Hip-hop 音乐发展的起点。 rap :作为动词有敲击的意思，现在已经作为说唱这种流行音乐的代称。Rap是一个黑人俚语中的词语，相当于"谈话"(talking)，中文意思为说唱。最早出现在在今夜录音"交谈者的欢欣" (1979)由Sugarhill 帮会支持的节目中。“说唱”是一种有节奏的吟诵，通常以16小节的尺度或时间框架呈现。 keep real ：real的字面意思是真实的，这个词翻译为保持真实，很多黑人特别喜欢说这句话，这词有点“别装逼”、“好好活着”、“干点事"的感觉。说唱音乐大部分比较自信、狂妄、有态度，有一种要么死要么活的冒险精神。有些rapper写的词很浮夸，没有做过那件事写进词里，被同样的rapper提醒keep it real就是指你最好说的是真东西。也有专业人士将其分解为 “R”--Recognition(承认）， “E”--Evolution (融合）， “A”-- Association (联结）， “L”-- Legalization (契约） 这个解释非常符合嘻哈音乐产生时候的场景，大家在一起互相鼓励，加深认识，最后一起做音乐。 欧阳靖(Hiphop man)讲过其实做自己就是最嘻哈的事情。嘻哈音乐的核心就是keep it real, 这也是美国黑人在恶劣环境下坚持努力的一种自我勉励的精神。这个精神特别契合当前我国的年轻人，中国的GDP增长迅速，各个阶层、各个地方都感受到这种改变，而网络的发展，让大家更加逼真的看到彼此的生活和状态，信息的传播加快了彼此的进步，但也使得不同人间的差距被无限放大，催生了焦虑。所以我们也需要一种精神：自己就是最酷的、做真实的自己是最NB的。 凡是被大家所熟知的说唱歌曲，像是热狗他们的《差不多先生》，宋岳庭的《Life is a Struggle》对自己焦虑或自己生活状态最真实的表达。old school ：old school 的译文是守旧派。Old School并不是Hip-Hop专用语，在很多音乐和其他文化中都有被广泛使用，比如old school rock, old school metal等等。老派说唱指的是说唱的初创时期，在 1979-84 期间，当时的节拍更直接，重点在于娱乐，而不是对社会的诠释或讲述堕落的故事。后来OS也逐渐演变成一种嘻哈的曲风，多源于东部的老派说唱，OS的比较注重歌曲的韵律，其韵律比较有力。像制作人潘玮柏的很多嘻哈歌曲都是OS的曲风，这种曲风副歌的部分都有很好听的韵律，让人非常舒服，更能体会到歌曲想要表达的意思。peace &love： 译为和平和爱，这是为大众所熟知的嘻哈精神。但实际上，嘻哈文化的起源并不是这样的，可以说并不光彩，这也是很多人对嘻哈音乐有偏见的原因。2014年，一位嘻哈老炮曾叙述了嘻哈文化的起源，是包括说唱在内的喜欢文化是黑帮争斗和对社会不满一种形式，有时还是抢劫、犯罪的掩护牌。所以嘻哈文化的起源并不光彩，确实很多的嘻哈音乐都充满暴力、犯罪、色情等的消极丧文化。 但任何一种文化想要走的正走得远，本质都要是真善美的东西，hiphop是与时俱进的，并且前进方向是趋于积极的。唯有变化是一成不变的，值得高兴的是2018年2018年1月，广电总局发布了不得请用丧文化(颓废文化)等嘻哈艺人。从上一季中国有嘻哈到这一季的主题，越来越积极，越来越正能量。 有人说嘻哈音乐的灵魂在于暴力、脏话和丧，实在不敢苟同，这正是嘻哈音乐最大的诟病，我们正是取其精华，去其糟粕的接受和改变这种文化。 虽然，很多rapper并不适应这种改变，导致没有很好的作品呈现，但我相信在这种正面价值的引导下，一定会做出不一样的中国风的嘻哈。
