一定要用这个college这个词代替泛指的大学，你的英语要和别人区分开来就从这种表达习惯的改变。university偏指这个教学机构，这个学校。表达一个人去念大学，肯定用 someone go to collge 比较习惯。如果强调他是被大学录取的，那么 someone is accepted by a unviersity. 从语法上分析的话就是惯用college充当形容词成分。

北美高中和大学学年制了（鄙视楼上某些抄袭者）：

第一年：freshman

第二年：sophomore

第三年：junior

第四年：senior

第五年：super senior（这个估计就是大学里搞研究的本科生，高中里就是留级生了）
