最高级的基本句型结构有以下五种：
1、A…+the+最高级+in (of，among)…
意为在某范围内A最……。
Shanghai is the largest city in China.
上海是中国最大的城市。
注： 形容词最高级前如果没有形容词性物主代词，必须加定冠词the，但副词最高级前可以不加the。
2、A…+one of the +最高级+复数名词…
意为A是最……之一。
China is one of the largest countries in the world.
中国是世界上最大的国家之一。
注： one of 后面的名词要用复数形式。
.…the+序数词+最高级+单数名词+in+范围…
意为在某范围内是第几……的。
Chang jiang river is the first longest river in our country.
长江是我国最长的河流。
3、Which (who)… (the+）最高级，A，B or C?
意为A ，B ，C哪个最……？
Which is the biggest? The sun,the earth,the moon?
哪个是最大的？太阳，地球，月亮？
4、A…+the+最高级+(that) I have ever seen/heard/read .
意为A是我见过（听过，读过）最…的。
You are the most beautiful girl(that) I have ever seen.
你是我见过最漂亮的女孩。
注：除用ever 外，还可以用never。
注意事项：
1、最高级可被序数词或 much，far（much的跟屁虫）by far，nearly，almost，by no means，not quite，not really，nothing like，（rather不能修饰最高级）等词语所修饰。
例如：This hat is by far/much/nearly/almost/not nearly/by no means/not quite/nothing like the biggest．
2、表示“最高程度”的形容词，如 excellent，perfect等，没有最高级，也不能用比较级。
3、形容词最高级修饰作表语或介词宾语的名词、代词时，被修饰的词往往省略。
