阿凡达》的故事更俗套的，就是说《阿凡达》故事俗套的影评。这些人绝对没有恶意，而且绝对正确。他们只是不了解或者不愿意多辩解一下：一部好莱坞的超A级制作要超越最不可能的巅峰，真正需要的是一个什么样的故事。所谓“超A级制作”，我以为现在的标准就是万一票房失利可让大制片厂老板下台的电影。而掐指一算，在近年出现的所有超A级制作中，《阿凡达》是为数不多的非续集电影，更是唯一的上映前毫无受众基础的电影。所以在这里，我一定要为《阿凡达》俗套的故事好好认真地辩护一下：你难道以为卡麦伦称霸地球靠的是什么其他法宝？对他而言，经典的故事就是百分之九十九的俗套加百分之一的灵光。这百分之一的灵光就如同绝世大厨的顶级秘方，让饕餮盛宴焕然一新。现在分析下来，卡麦伦在故事情节、叙事手法和细节设定上所做的所有选择，几乎全部是正确的。他不是要做个CULT电影，他只是想把以往所有商业巨片都远远甩在后面，再一次。而他面临的最大一个难题是：在影迷口味日益挑剔的今天，怎样才能让潘朵拉的世界真正登上银幕时显得不雷人？我想所有人都会承认，去年“阿凡达日”全球影迷下载的先行预告片是很雷人的。这个难题，或许才让卡神寂寞了十四年，忙碌了十四年。2小时40分钟的故事容量，承担着开辟一个全新且完整的世界观的重任，而这只是观众了解故事的基础，这不是一块人人都能啃的硬骨头。虽然能让全球老百姓都在影片开始的一个小时之内看明白且接受一个不存在世界，貌似不需要惊世骇俗的叙事技巧，但是简单做下对比，就可以看出《阿凡达》和以往的极大部分具有复杂架空世界观的电影是不同的：我们看《移魂都市》，看《黑客帝国》，看《星际迷航》，再看《阿凡达》，有什么区别？在前三者，世界观本身是故事；而在后者，世界观只是一个寻常故事的不寻常背景，这就要求你不能过多着墨世界观，导致顾此失彼。卡麦伦有创造一个世界的野心和能力，但是更难能可贵的是他的克制。要让所有人（不仅是小众极品影迷，更是普罗大众）既为人物所倾心，又为故事所征服，更为世界观所疯狂，那没有两千把刷子是绝对不行的。故事发展的每一步都不能踏错，角色的每一句台词都不能浪费，在这同时，又必须兼顾到世界观与故事的融合。一旦顾此失彼，潘朵拉就变成“圆环套圆环”，纳威人就变成海宝，超A级制作就变成超B级制作。而卡麦伦之所以会让我们放心，是因为在别的导演看来是很棘手的事情，他有的是控制观众的方法。电影控制论，一直是我想好好讲的一点，因为我们的电影太缺控制的手段了。我们的电影想让观众哭的时候，观众却往往想笑；想让人紧张，人却打哈欠。商业电影是一种催眠技术，是一种控制人情绪和思维的技术。导演好比催眠师，与观众进行潜意识的斗法。控制住了观众，才能突破票房的极限。正如你想获得一个人的注意，最有效的不是在他面前晃悠，而是冲他耳朵大声喊叫一下；故事对于大多数观众而言，就是需要最原始和最简单的刺激点。刺激会为观众提供人物的动机，刺激会让观众产生忘我的境界。而卡麦伦所坚信的就是：刺激一定要原始和简单。越原始越可以直指人心，越简单越可以控制更多人。是的，极致的超A级商业电影之间的较量，如同武林绝顶高手的PK，什么视觉效果，什么营销策略，什么大牌明星，这些粗浅的招式都只是十亿级别的基础，要想更上一层楼，它们所真正比拼的，就是“控制”的功夫。你能控制的观众越多（票房基数大），能控制得越深（长线走势和二次票源），你才有赢的机会。因此说观众是上帝的导演永远没出息，必须要让你的观众永远被你牵着鼻子走，这才能成为商业电影的至尊大帝。

Fascinating concept .Must be seen cannot be describedI saw this epic last night at the Empire Leicester Sq in London, which is a superb venue in which to view this film. Huge screen, excellent sound and an extraordinary Dolby, 3 dimensional image. The whole effect is mind blowing.This is a 'Must see' movie, innovative, and extraordinary. I think it will be regarded by most cinema goers as another milestone in the history of the art. The level of realism achieved is remarkable, and although the film is relatively long in real time, it retains it's excitement and holds the audience's attention to the end.Performances are good, but this is not the sort of film that dwells on big star value for the actors, although Sigorney Weaver does shine and delivers a very convincing performance, as do the rest of the cast. But as there is so much entertainment and action value on screen the human element does not dominate in the usual way.As Writer/Director, James Cameron deserves high praise for this creation and in my opinion it will break box office records. I thoroughly enjoyed this film.

I had high expectations going into Avatar. Now I admit, it's probably stupid to go into any movie with expectations that are too high, lest they be crushed. However, even without high expectations, Avatar impresses only on a technical level, and on that level only. The story is very predictable, and as I watched this movie I was overcome with a feeling as if I had seen this all before in something in a made for TV movie on SyFy. This is pretty bad considering this is the same guy who made The Abyss and Terminator. I can only say that if you go see this movie, expect beautiful visuals... and a standard humdrum story that you've seen before if you follow any number of science fiction TV shows or just sci-fi in general. Oh, and if this is the 22nd century, why are they still using manually propelled wheelchairs?

The story is about immigration to planet Pandora, and what happened with local NA'VI. I like him, because he is very brave, and very clever. He is a good man. This film is very good, it is so excited, and it is to shake, it is so exciting. At the beginning of, he is helps the human being, but he does not like the human being break the alien’s home, so he help the alien attack the human being. At last he is the winner. And he is change to the alien .He project the alien’s environment. He is a good man. I like this film very much.2. Yesterday I went to watch 3D IMAX 'Avatar' with my mother and the teachers in her school. I have to admit that the film is such a wonder that I thought it is well worth watching in one's whole life. 'Avatar' is not just a film. Yes the view in it is really beautiful, charming, amazing, wonderful...I can use hundreds of words to describe what I saw. The film is not just about the love story between a 'human' and a NA'VI princess, but also a educational file. The film has something in common with the USA history. The NA'VI people live on the planet called Pandora, seems like the Indian people who used to live on the America continent. They first welcomed the new guys who came to settled on the new land. They gave them food, provide them with warm clothing, and taught them the living skills, including how to hunt, to build house... But soon everything changed. The settlers became robbers. They robbed many things of the Indians, and treated them very bad, even began to drive them out of their living places. The Indians became homeless. What a shame! The new settlers treated their benedictory in such a curl way. How cold blood they were.In this film, the char actors were just changed. The Americans are changed into human beings, and the local Indians turn into the NA'VI people on the Pandora. They begin to rob again. They, or should I say 'we' are miserly. We have already damaged too much on the earth. The environment has been destroyed, the water has been wasted, the air has been polluted, the forest has been cut, millions of animals have been killed and we can never see them again. It is just so sad! I just cannot stand it. We must live in harmony with the nature. On the U.N. Climate Change conference, which was held in Copenhagen, Denmark, our Chinese government published our aim, reducing the Carbon Dioxide. The USA government did not promise anything, they just focus on their own industry development. Do they really want to act like what the film has shown? Though I admire Mr. Osama, I can't understand why he did this.In the film, I saw a Circumstances, the commander told the soldier that the NA'VI people believe that the Eywa would bless them everybody laughed at it. Because they don't have anything to believe in. Or can I say they just believe in themselves. It is so sad! People hang together because they have the same belief. But the soldiers in this film, have completed been cold blood killer. What did they fight for? For resources? Then they're robbers. For the commander's orders? Then they're idiot...My men it's time to wake up! It's time for us to hang together just like brothers and sisters, to fight for our living areas.
