要写出有一定质量的短文，只有对书面知识的机械运用，是远远不够的，必须得考虑一下文章的写作技巧。 下面一起来看看！

一、确定文体和格式

书面表达题所采用的形式多种多样，要根据题目要求采用合适的文体和格式，比如书信、日记、通知、留言条、请假条、E-mail等应用文都有各自一定的格式。不论体裁、题材如何，我们可以把写作的方式归纳为描写、记叙、说明和议论，必须根据各种文体的特点，采用不同的写作方法。

描写类的文章，要求对人物进行具体生动的描绘，要抓住人物的特征来刻画人物的形象。记叙文一般叙述一件事情或一个事件的全过程，要求把事件发生的时间、地点、人物和经过交待清楚。比如日记就可以写成一篇记叙文，按照时间的先后顺序把自己的经历描述清楚，大部分的看图作文可以写成一篇记叙文。如果是提示写作试题，由于提供了文字或图表的提示，是一种控制性的写作。因此考生不宜任意发挥，要按题目所给的要求和长度(字、句数的限定)完成，否则不但容易离题而且出错的可能性会增大。说明文则要求对客观事物的性质，状态、特征、成因、构造、功能等进行解说或阐述。

二、常见短文的写作方向

三、选择合理的写作顺序

五、注意使用正确的时态和语态

初学写作往往忽视时态的使用，或不知使用何种时态。一般来说，写日记，看图编故事，叙述的是过去发生的事情，常用一般过去时或过去的某种时态。书信或E-mail多用一般现在时。写通知时常用祈使句、一般现在时和一般将来时的句子，平时要注意多总结各种文体常用的时态。在下笔前，首先要确定的是短文适合用哪些时态，要能根据实际需要正确使用。至于各种时态每种句式里的动词形式变化，要做到心中有数。至于被动语态j建议少用一些为好，除非到了非用不可的地方再用。汉语中的句子表示被动不一定要用“被”字，但在英语中往往要使用被动结构，比如“她看到遍地都是雪。”要说成："She saw that the ground was coveredwith snow.”
