6、重阳节（Double Ninth Festival），为每年的农历九月初九日，是中华民族的传统节日。
7、腊八节（Laba Festival），俗称“腊八” ，即是农历十二月初八，古人有祭祀祖先和神灵、祈求丰收吉祥的传统，一些地区有喝腊八粥的习俗。
8、除夕（New Year's Eve），又称大年夜、除夕夜、除夜、岁除等。是时值每年农历腊月（十二月）的最后一个晚上。除，即去除的之意；夕，指夜晚。

农历新年的前一夜就是我们中国的除夕夜了。除夕，又称大年夜、除夜、岁除、大晦日，是农历一年最后一天的晚上，即春节前一天晚。农历十二月多为大月，有三十天，所以又称为大年三十、年三十、年三十晚、年三十夜。而十二月小月时为廿九日，有些地区又会改称二九暝。“除夕”中“除”字的本义是“去”，引申为“易”，即交替；“夕”字的本义是“日暮”，引申为“夜晚”。因而“除夕”便含有旧岁到次夕而除，明日即另换新岁的意思。

However, when the king decided to ally with the increasingly powerful state of Qin, Qu was banished for opposing the alliance and even accused of treason.
