More and more people are tending to read books or information by computer software or mobile phone software, it is because most of the E books are free and convient to download. When one meets some questions, the frist step he does may be to input the key words in the searching engine, then a lot of E materials will appear, most of them are free. it will just take few minutes to download them and start to enjoy the knowledge,and find the right methods to address those quettions. But some people reject the idea that E books should be used in large scale. They consider the Ebooks as fast food, not so nutrient to human as traditional paper books do. As the access to knowledge is hard work without any shortcut. The paper books make more detailed description upon knowledge, to let the reader learn more about why and how, but not only the simple result of what.

Comparing paper based and electronic books and their future development

This essay makes brief comparison between traditional paper based books and the fourishing electronic books (E-books). Also, each one's potential future development path will be discussed.

Traditional books certianly have a range of advantages. Firstly, as long as you do your reading under proper brightness, they are known to be eye-friendly, however, reading E-books through computer, laptop or tablet can be detrimental to our eyesight in some ways, especailly the radiation from screens. Secondly, paper books are more portable and you can read at places that do not have access to electricity. Although most electronic devices have portable batteries, they cannot last very long usually...

On the other hand, it is undeniable that E-books, because of their merits, have become more important in the modern society. They are more environmentally friendly. Unlike traditional books, E-books can help to mitigate deforestation and then improve the overall environment. Moreover, due to the popularization of the internet, E-books have become more conveninent and cheaper for people to get access to.

E-books are actaully replacing paper based books slowly, but there is no way that traditional books will be disappeared in people's life. some, especailly senior citizens, do not have the skills or are simply reluctant to use elecronic devices. In my opinion, traditional books are inclined to become collections in the future, while E-books will be the main format for people to study and access to knowledge.

I like this feeling of belongings when reading paper books. From a collection point of view, E-books do not htve a high value compared to paper books. （珍藏价值你可以用collection，stve更多用与节省，比如节省金钱：stve money 或许拯救生命: stve lives.) A reader who bought a hardcover book once said: although it is more expensive buying paper books, you can collect the book after reading it, but you cannot really collect e-books. From a sharing point of view, although it is fast sharing e-books on the internet, it is not convenient in the sense of borrowing/lending among friends. Above were some of the reasons that I like about paper books.
