1.改变内向性格，消除“ Face issue": 很多时候中国人学了很久口语，但进步不大，首先是被性格给耽误了，中国人普遍比较谦虚，所以性格内向的人偏多，但这种内向的性格却极大地妨碍了对英语的学习，因为内向的人不太善于沟通，过多的考虑了Face issue 面子问题，怕自己说错，说的不标准，对方笑话自己，从而不敢表达自我，而口语要取得进步，就要多说，在说的过程中取得进步，就正如一句old saying goes" Practice makes perfect" 练习造就完美（呵呵，自己翻的，国内多翻译为“熟能生巧”），自己不开口练习，口语实在难去掉进步。所以要想快速提高口语，首先要消除对面子的顾虑，养成用英语表达的习惯，这是口语学习最关键的部分。另外，和外国人交流的时候一定要自信，不要紧张，很多学员一和外国人说话，就紧张，一紧张，很多会说的东西都说不出来了，要不就是很多错误，这大可不必，一定要建立在外国人面前的自信，好歹，他也在我们的地盘上。 2.抓住一切机会练习口语：可以抓住一切机会和外国朋友和同事对话的机会，千万不要浪费机会，很多词，很多词我的学员在课后和有这样的对话说，“老师，我们的外国老板又到中国来视察了，今天在我们公司自己坐了一个多小时，我想过去和他聊聊天，但怕自己英语太差，没敢去，" 千万不要让这样的悲剧发生在你的身上。脸皮要“厚”，讲错了会脸红没关系，下次还要主动开口，找一切可能的机会开口，这样口语才能得到提高。 3.纠正自己，提高准确度：注意在开口的同时，也要注意到”准确“的重要性，一些语法错误尽量不要犯，虽然和老外基本用”单词“就能交流，但说的时候一定要尽量准确，对自己高要求，口语才能得到有效地提高，为了保证我们口语的准确性，在开始说的时候我们就尽可能的说慢点，让自己有多一点时间去思考和组织句子，这样开始可能会说的慢一点，但习惯养成后，口语说出来就又快又准确了，举个例子，这个就像学游泳，开始学正确泳姿的时候可能要多花一点时间，多吃一点苦，但学会后就游的又快又好看了。在这个过程的，可能有的错误自己无法发现，最好找一个英语比自己好的朋友一周一起练习一、二次，请对方指出自己的错误，然后加以改正，因为有些错误自己始终是发现不了的。另外，在和别人交流中遇到不会的单词或不太确定的句子下来一定要查出正确的说法（用google或者请教朋友），并尽量把他们记住，转换成自己的active memory 积极记忆，就是下次用的时候马上能想的出来，而不是说“唉，这个单词见过或背过，但搞忘了”。正如以前上过的上海星顿英语培训中心的教学方法一样，老师会训练你的英文思维方式，而不是直接告诉怎么说，而是引导去表达，这样逐渐的就会形成地道的英文思维方式，而不再是简单的中文翻译到英文了。 4.没有环境，就创造环境：很多学员说自己公司没有外国同事或者说英语的机会很少，没有语言环境去锻炼口语，没有关系，没有环境可以自己创造一个。
