复试中的英语口语考查难度不一，各院校自主决定题型。如果按照难度划分，大体有四个考查方式。其中难度较低的就是考官让考生用英语自我介绍，然后对个人信息进行简单的单句问答。
如果是这种考查方式，考生认真准备的话，在面试中通常不会出现太大的闪失，而且准备的难度较低。为什么这么说呢？我们先列举一下英语口语面试中的常见话题：自身优势、介绍家乡、兴趣爱好、本科经历、考研原因等。看到这里，很多考生应该对以上话题很眼熟。没错，英语口语中的简单问答和综合素质面试中的问题重合度很高，所以考生在准备综合素质面试的时候，把常见问题也准备一份英文版本，这样不止可以加深记忆，也可以同时复习两个板块，复习效率大大提高。
第二种考查方式，是有些学校会让考生读一段英文材料，然后将其翻译，或根据材料中内容随机提问几个问题。这种考查方式对一些听力能力较弱的考生比较友好，考官口头问答的内容较少。但是，通常给定的材料都比较复杂，带有一些生僻词汇，而且翻译是对考生英语应用能力的系统考查。考生不止要有一定的词汇量储备，还要对语法语义等有较深的理解。如果考生提前了解到报考的学校出现过这种考查方式，就要提前对自己的翻译能力多加练习，有备无患。
