THE NAUGHTY BOYAlong time ago, there lived an old poet, a thoroughly kind old poet. As he wassitting one evening in his room, a dreadful storm arose without, and the rainstreamed down from heaven; but the old poet sat warm and comfortable in hischimney-corner, where the fire blazed and the roasting apple hissed."Those who have not a roof over their heads will be wetted to the skin," saidthe good old poet."Oh let me in! Let me in! I am cold, and I'm so wet!" exclaimed suddenly achild that stood crying at the door and knocking for admittance, while therain poured down, and the wind made all the windows rattle."Poor thing!" said the old poet, as he went to open the door. There stood alittle boy, quite naked, and the water ran down from his long golden hair; hetrembled with cold, and had he not come into a warm room he would mostcertainly have perished in the frightful tempest."Poor child!" said the old poet, as he took the boy by the hand. "Come in,come in, and I will soon restore thee! Thou shalt have wine and roastedapples, for thou art verily a charming child!" And the boy was so really. He looked exactly like a little angel, buthe was so pale, and his whole body trembled with cold. "What's your name?""My name is Cupid," answered the boy. "Don't you know me? There lies my bow;it shoots well, I can assure you! Look, the weather is now clearing up, andthe moon is shining clear again through the window.""Why, your bow is quite spoiled," said the old poet."That were sad indeed," said the boy, and he took the bow in his hand andexamined it on every side. "Oh, it is dry again, and is not hurt at all; thestring is quite tight. I will try it directly." And he bent his bow, took aim,and shot an arrow at the old poet, right into his heart. At the play, he sits in the great chandelier andburns in bright flames, so that people think it is really a flame, but theysoon discover it is something else. He roves about in the garden of the palaceand upon the ramparts: yes, once he even shot your father and mother right inthe heart. Ask them only and you will hear what they'll tell you. Oh, he is anaughty boy, that Cupid; you must never have anything to do with him. He isforever running after everybody. Only think, he shot an arrow once at your oldgrandmother! But that is a long time ago, and it is all past now; however, athing of that sort she never forgets. Fie, naughty Cupid! 一、百度搜索:
1.如果知道短文题目,就在百度搜索框里输入短文题目进行查找。如:XXX短文的听力录音。
2.如果是英语课本里的短文,就在百度搜索框里输入关键字(教材版本、年级、听力/录音/mp3) 进行搜索。一般情况下都能找到含有该短文的那本书的全册录音资源。下载后,你再在里面找到你需要的那篇短文的录音文件即可。
输入关键字的格式:XX版 高中英语 必修X 课文录音/听力/mp3

第一:预先浏览全题,调整心理首先要调整自己的心理,在听录音前要先看大小题目要求,问题与选项,提前做到心中有底。在看的时候尽量要对文章内的试题和答案进行预测。因为录音有不可重复性,所以同学们要集中精神,认真的听。特别注意的是要抓住听力试音的机会。第二:初听文意,速记关键词在初次听录音时,同学们应将最大努力放在理解文章大意上,切不可将注意力放在个别听不懂的词句上。最重要的是要听清、听懂句首。根据经验来说,一篇文章的首句是要概括了全文的核心内容,听懂这一句,预示着对全文都有一点的了解。若是听到选题中的信息出现在了句中,也不要轻易的下结论,或许它只是迷惑你的,下文中的结论会将它推翻第三:查漏补缺,严防遗漏同学们在听第二遍录音时,应该进行查漏补缺,即在进一步理解全文、把握细节的基础上,特别注意第一次没有听清楚或没有理解的地方,验证一下自己在第一次有没有误听或漏听的信息。总而言之,洛基英语建议:抓住试听读题、初听、再听和解题这四步,认真、冷静对待,就一定能做好听力、稳拿高分。
有个帮助背单词的软件我一直在用的,有新课标大学英语词库,可以直接把任何词库内容转成MP3播放以及LRC同步字幕,而且背单词可以帮你及时复习。你在百度搜单词风暴,去官网下载个单词风暴软件跟着记忆,不要死记硬背中文意思,多看例句,试着多造句子,这样才能明白单词的用法,也可以尝试谐音法,词根词缀法,近形词头脑风暴法,自己编顺口溜等,并且坚持每天复习,就能比较容易记住很多单词了。
