2006年师大以“仁爱精勤”的新校训替代了原有的“勤勉严谨、求实创新、献身教育、团结奋进”老校训。1939年1月14日，《国师季刊》创刊号发行，学校确立的“仁爱精勤”校训在该校刊上正式发布。
