其次，有的学生听不懂英语听力，有可能是自己平时的英语发英不准，存在着地方方言化的现象。对于这种情况，我们首先要强化对英语国际音标发音的练习，从最基础的音标进行纠正，然后多听英语磁带的单词发音，纠正自己不准确或错误的发音。一般我们考试或国际上比较通用的英语发音是美式发音，英式发音是我们用的较少的，学生需要注意自己在平时的练习中到底是英式发音还是美式发音。
最后，我们还可以通过许多外在的手段来提高我们的英语听力成绩。首先我们就是需要多运用英语，因为只有说得更多，我们才能对英语的环境更加熟悉。可以与自己的同学多使用英语交流，也可以多看英文电影，建议从比较简单基础的入手，先感受语境和发音，然后再培养语感。最后，我们的手机上都有许多的APP可以跟读、训练自己的听力，我们可以每天抽出一小段的时间来进行训练，只要我们坚持每日复一式地练习，那么就会积少成多，从量变到质变，我们的英语听力水平就会提高，而在英语听力考试中取得很好的成绩。
