【含义解释】

不同点：clerks既可以是动词三单，也可以是名词复数，另外clerks除了翻译成职员，还有管理员，秘书，记帐员等意思，servants只能是名词复数。

【用法区别】

clerks是可数名词，在美国可以作“店员,售货员”解,相当于英式英语的shop assistant。在美国, clerk还可作“接待员”解。

servant意思是进行服侍动作的人——佣人、仆人，尤其指旧时的佣人。人民的公仆、公务员的说法就是public servant, civil servant 或者 servant of the state。
