英文小笑话,简单易背,还不失水准……There were two men who went out to eat together. They ordered fish. So on the table there were two fish. Normally not all the fish are alike in size, so there was one small, and one big. The first man just took the big one for himself without asking and feeling ashamed, or anything; and ate it. The other friend felt very disturbed and annoyed, he didn't know what to say. So he thought for a while, and then he said," If it were me," I would have taken the smaller one first." So the other guy said," See! I knew that! That's why I took the big one."

The waiter left and returned quickly.“I'm sorry, sir,but we've just run out of a dinosaur.”

" What?" said the diner with feigned disappointment."No dinosaur?"

The waiter lowered his voice. "Well,we do have some left,“he whispered confidentially,"...but it's not very fresh and I won't serve it!”

. What are ideals? The ideals are very important to all of us. But what are ideals? Now let’s look at the following famous sayings. The famous Russian litterateur Lev Tolstoy said, “Ideal is the beacon. Without ideal, there is no secure direction; without a direction, there is no life.” The famous American statesman Carl Schurz said, “Ideals are like the stars---we never reach them, but like mariners, we chart our course by them. ” The famous American scientist Albert Einstein said, “The ideals which have lighted my way, and time after time have given me new courage to face life cheerfully have been kindness, beauty and truth.”
